Job summary

Nityo Infotech in Helsinki, Finland, seeks a ServiceNow Administrator for a 6-month to potential long-term contract in a hybrid setup (2-3 days in office). The role covers OS, middleware, and database administration on premises, including upgrades and optimization.

You will convert business requirements into OPS tasks, support ServiceNow documentation and security bulletins, and coordinate planned infra changes with co-location services.

Qualifications

• Experience with on-prem ServiceNow platform and version upgrades.
• Ability to translate business requirements into OPS tasks for ServiceNow.
• Experience supporting ServiceNow documentation, security bulletins, and community resources.
• Co-location service knowledge and capability to plan infra changes (firewall openings, server provisioning).

Responsibilities

• Configure and maintain OS (Linux, Windows Server) and middleware (Java, Apache, PHP).
• Install, configure, upgrade MariaDB databases and ensure health/performance.
• Develop advanced SQL queries, procedures, and schemas.
• Perform ServiceNow development and deployment tasks on-premises.
• Troubleshoot integration incidents including network and firewall issues.

Job description

Location: Helsinki, Finland/Hybrid (2-3 days in office)

Employment Type: Contract - 6 months full-time to potential long-term contract

Experience required: 4+ Years

ServiceNow platform is on premises. As result the AM talent will be responsible for:

• OS configuration and upgrades (Linux, Windows Server)
• Middleware installation, configuration, and upgrades (Java, Apache, PHP etc)
• Database installation, configuration, upgrades, and maintenance (MariaDB)
• Understanding database architecture as example building a setup for database replication
• Database health and optimization experience
• Experience in developing advanced SQL queries, procedures, and schemas

Responsible for troubleshooting integration incidents including network and firewall issues

Knowledge to work with Rubrik data backup and recovery services

ServiceNow version upgrades (on premise)

Required to do Planning Infra changes (etc firewall openings, provisioning servers)

Configuration and maintenance of:

• Monitoring tools (Zabbix)

Co-location service knowledge

ServiceNow development & deployment skills

Required:
