Job summary

Qualifications

A relevant master’s or PhD degree with research or industry experience in hydrometallurgy.
Strong knowledge of hydrometallurgical unit processes, from leaching to recovery, including solvent extraction and/or ion-exchange.
Experience in planning and conducting experimental research and interpreting results.

Responsibilities

Plan and conduct hydrometallurgical experiments.
Develop process concepts from desktop studies towards laboratory testing and pilot-scale validation.
Apply techno-economic assessments into the research and publication workflow.
Work closely with customers to understand their needs and translate them into relevant research questions and practical solutions.
Coordinate multidisciplinary collaboration and communicate research ideas and results clearly to stakeholders.
Contribute to safe, high-quality and forward-looking research practices in the team.
