Job summary

Academic Work Finland Oy, on behalf of its client, seeks a Mechanical Engineer to drive execution projects in concentrator and hydrometallurgical technology. You will design equipment specifications, create 3D models and drawings, and work with multidisciplinary teams to ensure high-quality technical deliveries.

You will grow to become an expert in Metsos concentrator technology and support long-term professional development toward a Chief Engineer role.

Qualifications

Degree in engineering or another relevant technical field.
Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to work.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with different stakeholders.
Good cooperation skills and the ability to build productive working relationships.
Good communication skills in English.
Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites.

Responsibilities

Design and prepare equipment specifications, 3D models and drawings.
Collaborate with project teams to define and clarify equipment requirements.
Maintain and develop non-proprietary equipment specifications and drawing databases.
Contribute mechanical engineering activities in delivery projects.
Grow to be an expert within Metsos concentrator and hydrometallurgical technology areas.
Maintain product structures in the Product Data Management (PDM) system.
