Job summary

Metso seeks a Manager, Technical Services in Pori, Finland, to lead the Technical Service and Maintenance Operations at the Experimental Research center. You will ensure development, maintenance, and operational readiness of research equipment, labs, and pilot plant facilities supporting metallurgical and minerals processing testing.

You will report to the Director, Experimental Research, and collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and external partners to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable

Qualifications

• Leadership experience leading teams in an industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of process-industry equipment and projects.
• Broad understanding of engineering, mechanics, automation and electrical systems.
• Ability to manage resources and multiple priorities with a proactive approach.

Responsibilities

• Lead Technical Service and Maintenance Operations at the Research Center.
• Develop and improve Technical Service processes and capabilities.
• Manage external resources including contractors and engineering partners.
• Support and develop research equipment, labs and pilot plant infrastructure.
• Oversee equipment modifications, upgrades and new installations.
• Contribute to leadership of the Experimental Research organization.
