Job summary

GE HealthCare in Helsinki is seeking an experienced Senior RF Systems Engineer to shape wireless medical technology from concept to product release, working on RF front ends, antennas, and integration for patient monitoring devices.

You will own radio system design, perform simulations and measurements, support regulatory certification (FCC/RED), and collaborate across hardware, software, quality, and manufacturing to deliver reliable, compliant products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, Telecommunications, or equivalent.
• Hands-on experience in radio systems and RF development, ideally taking a product from concept to release.
• Practical knowledge of RF design tools, simulators, schematic and layout editors, and measurement tools.
• Ability to work independently and in a collaborative team environment.
• Strong communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of radio system design from concept to release.
• Develop and evaluate RF solutions for wireless medical systems (Bluetooth, MBAN, Wi‑Fi).
• Design RF hardware including schematics, PCB layouts, antennas, and related circuitry.
• Plan and execute testing from RF RX/TX to system-level performance.
• Support product-level radio certification activities (FCC, RED).
• Collaborate with hardware, software, systems, quality, regulatory, manufacturing, and partners to troubleshoot RF topics.
• Contribute to early-stage technology development and RF roadmap for wearables and patient monitoring.
