Job summary

Parapex Talent is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead major MEP projects in the data centre sector in Helsinki. The role is permanent and requires a strong construction background with experience in general contracting or operations.

You will manage large, complex projects autonomously, balancing site presence with stakeholder engagement to deliver on time and on budget. You will lead end-to-end MEP delivery, supervise site teams, and collaborate with clients, architects and engineers.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as senior construction project manager, ideally on data centre or similar large-scale infrastructure projects.
• Background in general contracting or site operations, with demonstrated ability to manage teams and contractors.
• Competence in MEP coordination and the technical requirements of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Excellent stakeholder management, comfortable liaising with clients, architects, engineers, and site teams.
• Ability to work autonomously, make sound decisions under pressure, and maintain project momentum across multiple workstreams.

Preferred Qualifications

• Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Professional membership with the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) or equivalent body
• Data centre project experience or familiarity with mission-critical facility requirements
