Job summary

Mercury Engineering is seeking an experienced Senior Planner to lead the planning function across major programmes, including data centre projects. You will supervise the planning team, develop integrated master schedules, and ensure effective reporting and governance.

You will drive lookaheads, EVM, KPI reporting, and recovery plans, coordinating with clients, designers and subcontractors. Travel to project sites is required to support delivery and change control.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in planning and project controls on large-scale construction or data centre projects.
• Expertise in data centre lifecycle, from design through handover.
• Proficiency in Primavera P6 for complex master programme development and reporting.
• Strong leadership and mentoring of planners.

Responsibilities

• Lead senior planners and coordinate planning teams across programmes.
• Develop and maintain integrated master schedules for design to handover.
• Produce progress reports and client dashboards with KPI analysis.
• Lead schedule analysis, critical path and delay assessments.
• Mentor and coach planning staff; provide capability development.
• Travel to project sites as required.
