Job summary

3stepIT is seeking a Senior Manager, Strategy & M&A to accelerate growth and shape the company’s future. You will drive the Group’s M&A agenda, lead due diligence, and partner with senior leadership to translate strategic priorities into actionable growth initiatives.

You will work with the CEO and Board to identify opportunities across markets, develop value creation plans, and manage cross-functional programs in an international context.

Qualifications

• 6–10 years in Corporate Strategy, M&A/Corporate Development, consulting, PE or related field.
• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering or related discipline.
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead global M&A agenda, build pipeline, due diligence, and transactions through to execution.
• Shape Group’s long-term strategy with growth initiatives and value creation plans.
• Identify new growth opportunities across markets and business models.

Reporting to: Chief Strategy Officer

As Senior Manager, Strategy & M&A, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating 3stepIT’s growth and shaping the company’s future. You will work at the heart of the Group’s most important strategic initiatives, combining corporate strategy, M&A, business development, and value creation to turn ambitious plans into tangible results.

You will lead high-impact strategic projects across the Group, identify and assess new growth opportunities, drive M&A initiatives from idea to execution, and support senior leadership and the Board in making critical strategic decisions. Your work will directly contribute to strengthening 3stepIT’s market position and advancing our ambition to become the independent global leader in technology lifecycle management and circular technology services.

This is a high-visibility role for a commercially minded strategy professional who wants to make a real impact, work closely with senior stakeholders, and help shape the next chapter of a growing international business.

Main Responsibilities & Tasks

• Drive 3stepIT’s global M&A agenda by building the pipeline, evaluating opportunities, leading due diligence, and driving transactions through to successful execution
• Shape and execute the Group’s long-term strategy, translating strategic priorities into concrete growth initiatives and value creation plans
• Identify and develop new growth opportunities across existing, adjacent, and emerging markets
• Lead strategic and commercial analyses across markets, competitors, customers, trends, and business performance to inform key decisions
• Build compelling business cases and support high-impact investment and strategic decisions
• Lead value creation initiatives focused on revenue growth, profitability, EBITDA improvement, asset utilization, and capital efficiency
• Develop strategic KPI frameworks and track the execution and impact of key initiatives across the Group
• Identify and develop strategic partnerships, alliances, and new business models that strengthen 3stepIT’s competitive position and accelerate growth
• Work closely with the CEO, Executive Team, and Board by providing data-driven insights, recommendations, and decision support on key strategic topics
• Lead cross-functional strategic projects and collaborate with senior stakeholders and external advisors across functions and geographies

What you bring with you

• 6–10 years of relevant experience in Corporate Strategy, M&A / Corporate Development, Management Consulting, Private Equity, Investment Banking, or a related field
• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Engineering, or a related discipline
• Strong financial modelling, valuation, and analytical capabilities, combined with exceptional strategic thinking
• Ability to translate complex analysis into clear, actionable recommendations and sound business decisions
• Strong commercial mindset, business judgment, and a genuine drive to create tangible value
• Proven track record of leading complex, cross-functional projects and managing senior stakeholders across functions and geographies
• Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and engage senior leadership and Board-level stakeholders
• Strong project management and negotiation skills, combined with a hands-on and results-oriented approach
• Proactive, entrepreneurial mindset and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, international environment
