Job summary

Stora Enso Oyj in Helsinki seeks a Senior Manager to lead Energy Trading in Business Unit Energy, optimizing energy cost, supply and risk management through trading and sourcing activities. The role can be located in Helsinki or at one of the mill sites in Finland.

You will manage electricity and fuel trading operations, oversee sourcing, conduct market analysis and hedging, and deliver transparent reporting of trading results. Fluency in English and Finnish is mandatory.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Science or Engineering, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience within the energy business and energy trading.
• Supervisory or team leadership experience is an advantage.
• Ability to lead complex projects with multiple internal and external stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel as required.
• Fluency in English and Finnish is mandatory; Swedish is a benefit.

We are looking for Senior Manager, Energy Trading for Business Unit Energy to ensure optimized energy cost, supply, and risk management through trading and sourcing activities. The position can be located in Helsinki or in one of the Stora Enso mill sites in Finland.

• Previous experience in a supervisory, or team leadership role is considered an advantage

• Strong collaboration, communication, and teamwork skills
• Established professional network and/or strong networking capabilities
• Willingness to travel as required by the role
• Fluency in both written and spoken English and Finnish is mandatory; Swedish is a benefit
