Job summary

Sofigate in Finland seeks a Senior Operations Development Lead / Senior Program Manager to guide large-scale transformation programs, optimize operating models, and bridge business and IT.

You will lead multi-stream initiatives, shape governance, and act as a trusted advisor to executives and teams, delivering practical outcomes from strategy to execution. The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, stakeholder engagement, and leveraging AI tools to create tangible value for customers.

Qualifications

• Several years of experience in leading business operations development, transformation, change or programme management initiatives.

• Experience in designing or improving operating models, governance, business processes or cross-functional ways of working

• Understanding of ERP, CRM or HCM applications
• Fluency in English and Finnish

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and versatile Senior Operations Development Lead / Senior Program Manager to join our team.

The team you will be working in specializes in helping customers develop their operations, business processes, IT operating models and transformation capabilities. Our assignments range from complex multi-stream development programmes and business technology transformations to organizational change, and interim leadership roles.

In this role, you will help customers clarify direction, structure ambiguous situations, improve ways of working, and turn strategic goals into practical execution. You will work closely with business and IT stakeholders, build bridges between different parts of the organization, and lead change in a hands‑on and pragmatic way.

The ideal candidate has a proven track record in leading large-scale development initiatives and transformation programmes, acting as a trusted sparring partner for both executives and employees, and helping organizations move in the right direction. You are comfortable moving between strategic advisory, programme leadership and hands‑on execution depending on the customer’s needs, maturity and scale.

We provide a structured onboarding and role‑specific training phase to ensure you are set up for success before stepping into customer assignments.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Leading business operations development, transformation and change initiatives in customer organizations

What we expect from you:

• Several years of experience in leading business operations development, transformation, change or programme management initiatives
• Excellent stakeholder management and people leadership skills, with the ability to engage naturally with both executives and employees
• Strong ability to structure ambiguous situations, create clarity and drive practical progress
• Experience in designing or improving operating models, governance, business processes or cross‑functional ways of working
• Willingness to work hands‑on while translating business needs into practical IT, process and operating model improvements
• Ability to adjust your approach according to the customer’s maturity, scale and operating environment — from hands‑on execution to senior‑level advisory and leadership
• Understanding of enterprise applications such as ERP, CRM or HCM
• Experience with Copilot, ChatGPT or other generative AI tools is essential
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel
• Strong references and a proven ability to create customer value
• Fluency in both English and Finnish is required
