Job summary

Business Finland is seeking a Senior Advisor to strengthen international investment promotion in Eastern Finland and connect the region’s opportunities with Invest in Finland’s national and international networks. You will develop Eastern Finland’s investment opportunities with regional partners, connect them with Invest in Finland’s networks, identify leads and move them into qualified projects.

The role is based in Ruoholahti, Helsinki, on a three-year fixed-term basis, and offers

Qualifications

Experience in international business, investment promotion or ecosystem development.
Ability to turn initial leads into structured projects across teams.
Excellent spoken and written English and Finnish.
A relevant higher education degree or equivalent professional experience.

Responsibilities

Develop Eastern Finland’s investment opportunities with regional and national partners.
Connect regional opportunities with Invest in Finland’s international networks and sector expertise.
Identify and develop investment leads and advance them to concrete projects.
Support international companies considering establishing or expanding operations in Eastern Finland.
Coordinate cooperation and a shared investment pipeline across partners.
Represent Business Finland and Invest in Finland in relevant networks.
