Job summary

Visma's DomaCare ERP team in Finland seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer to join the Infra, Security & Operations group. You will maintain and upgrade cloud infrastructure, automate repetitive tasks, and contribute to security decisions. You will work with Linux environments, Python/Bash tooling, and MySQL/MariaDB databases to build scalable and secure systems.

English required; Finnish is a plus. Hybrid or remote work options, bases in Helsinki or Oulu are available.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in infrastructure management and automation, specifically Linux servers.
• Experience building automation and internal tooling (Python, Bash).
• Development experience and ability to write clear, maintainable and documented code.
• Experience with relational databases such as MySQL/MariaDB.
• Experience with infrastructure and software security.
• Familiarity and interest in AI tools and automation.

Senior Infrastructure Engineer, DomaCare

We are looking for an experienced engineer to join our Infra, Security & Operations team.

As part of our team your job is to keep our systems running smoothly and keep them secure. In practice this means maintaining and upgrading our cloud infrastructure and participating in the security-related development decisions. For that solid development experience is needed as well as experience in infrastructure and security.

We don’t want you to do manual grinding, but rather automate the boring stuff. For that we provide you with the latest AI and Automation tools and sufficient budget to invest in the tools you feel that we still need.

The team of our most senior engineers in the Infrastructure, Security & Operations team will help you on your journey. They will provide you with the right tools and directions.

We appreciate people who have a vision and can guide their own work. When you find friction in our systems, or security vulnerabilities that might allow bad actors in, we want you to take ownership and suggest a plan of action.

Working as part of an international development team, English language skills are a must, although Finnish skills are useful and seen as an advantage. This position can be based in either Oulu or Helsinki, with flexible hybrid and remote work options to suit your lifestyle.

We need:
