Job summary

Tieto Caretech is looking for a DevOps Engineer for hospital information systems, in a temporary role from late 2026 to end of 2027. The candidate will join the Healthcare Product Operations team and focus on incident resolution, automation, and collaborative development.

We value a can-do attitude, teamwork, and a drive to learn and evolve in a Nordic healthcare setting. Ideal applicants have SQL Server experience, familiarity with DevOps and Agile, and fluent English and Finnish.

About The Role

A team working for the Healthcare Product Operations is looking for a DevOps Engineer for hospital information system.

This is a temporary position running from the end of 2026 until the end of 2027.

As DevOps Engineer, you will:

• Solve customer incidents and service requests
• Use coding languages or scripting methodologies to solve a problem
• Working on ways to automate and improve daily operations
• Participate in software development and testing activities

As DevOps Engineer your key values are:

What you need to be successful in this role:

• Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and SQL
• Awareness of DevOps and Agile principles
• Excellent team working and communication skills
• Strong problem solving skills

It would be beneficial if you also

• Knowledge of programming languages; Angular/Typescript/Karma (JavaScript), C# (.NET, REST, WCF)
• Test Automation development (Robot Framework, Selenium etc.)

AI knowledge requirement

AI literacy is expected for this role. You will be comfortable using approved AI tools to improve quality and productivity in everyday work (e.g., drafting, summarising, analysing, and automating routine tasks). You can write clear prompts/instructions, critically evaluate and validate AI outputs, and apply sound judgement when results are incomplete, biased, or incorrect. You understand and follow company policies and applicable legal/regulatory requirements for confidentiality, privacy, security, and responsible AI use (including not sharing sensitive data in unapproved tools).
