Job summary

Fortum in Espoo, Finland, is seeking an Expert, Instrumentation & Control (Project Design) to join the Engineering & Projects team. You will support I&C projects for nuclear services, including NPP modernization and new build initiatives, with domestic and international clients.

Hybrid work model with flexible hours, travel within Finland and Europe, and a focus on ownership, collaboration, and high-quality design concepts.

Qualifications

• Upper-level degree in automation engineering or a relevant field.
• Excellent English language skills in speaking and writing.
• Proven track record as an expert in the nuclear field.
• Willingness to travel occasionally within Finland and Europe.
• Analytical thinker with ability to develop design concepts and details.
• Strong ownership, communication, and collaboration skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute I&C projects for domestic and international Nuclear Services clients.
• Identify client needs and develop suitable solutions as service packages.
• Determine technical specifications and review I&C design concepts.
• Participate in project meetings in Finland or abroad as I&C expert.
