Job summary

Nokian Tyres is seeking a seasoned Business Controller for Vianor to act as a senior financial partner to business leadership, driving performance insights and strategic decision making.

You will lead planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting and financial analysis across the Vianor organization, partnering with country teams and supporting investment decisions. Strong Finnish/English skills are essential, with a hands-on, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• A master’s degree, preferably in finance, accounting or economics.
• Solid experience in business controlling, financial planning and analysis, reporting or a comparable senior finance role, preferably in an international, multi‑entity environment.
• Strong understanding of P&L, balance sheet, cash flow, working capital and profitability drivers.
• Proven ability to act as a business partner to senior stakeholders and convert financial analysis into practical business recommendations.
• Fluent written and spoken Finnish and English; other languages are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Financial leadership and business partnering: provide proactive financial support and insights to Vianor leadership and country orgs.
• Performance management and profitability analysis: lead analysis of sales, margin, cost, operating profit, working capital and cash flow.
• Planning, forecasting and budgeting: own monthly estimates, annual budgeting and long-range planning.
• Reporting and financial transparency: ensure timely, accurate reporting and improve visualization of key data.
• Investment, business case and strategic support: support investments and M&A-related analysis and modelling.
• Process, tools and ways-of-working development: drive improvement of processes, reporting tools and BI/digital practices.
• Governance, controls and audit support: support governance, cost allocation, inventory follow-up and audit activities.
