Job summary

Valmet Automotive in Finland is seeking a commercially minded and analytically strong Business Controller to join our finance team. You will lead budgeting, forecasting, and long-range planning to steer business performance.

You will analyze profitability by product, customer, and project, support strategic decisions with financial modeling, and ensure accurate monthly reporting in close collaboration with the accounting team. English fluency and ERP/BI experience are valued.

Qualifications

Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field
Experience in business controlling, FP&A or similar finance role
Strong budgeting, forecasting, performance management and profitability analysis skills
Understanding of balance sheet, cash flow and working capital dynamics
Analytical mindset with ability to translate data into insights
Proactive, business-oriented approach with excellent communication to stakeholders
Fluent English; ERP/BI experience and Finnish language skills are advantageous

Responsibilities

Lead annual budgeting process, monthly forecasts, and long-range planning
Analyze financial performance, drivers, risks and opportunities with actionable recommendations
Monitor and improve product, customer and project profitability analyses
Support strategic decisions with business cases, scenario analyses and financial modeling
Ensure visibility of balance sheet, working capital and cash flow performance
Ensure accurate monthly reporting with accounting team and develop financial processes
