Job summary

Geosyntec is seeking Project or Senior Environmental Practitioners to join our Helsinki team in Finland. The role focuses on environmental due diligence, EDD, ESIA, and permitting for industrial and energy sectors, with opportunities to collaborate across Europe, North America and Australia.

Applicants should have strong experience in environmental consulting, Finnish and EU environmental regulations, and be able to manage multiple projects, budgets and client relationships in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, economics, biology, environmental science, geology or a related field of study (required).
• Advanced degree in the same (preferred).
• Professional certification or membership to professional bodies (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Project management including budget management, multinational team management, and stakeholder communication.
• Project planning, reporting and delivery in a timely manner and high quality.
• Experience working with multiple projects simultaneously and presenting results to clients and regulators.
• Participating in sales meetings and development of environmental offerings.
• Collaboration with multinational project team.
