Job summary

Ramboll Group A/S is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to design and deliver data center cooling and HVAC infrastructure within the Nordics DataCenterFacilities group in Finland. You will collaborate with global specialists and lead engineering efforts across multiple projects.

The role requires strong consulting experience, a solid Revit/BIM 360 background, and excellent communication skills to engage clients and project partners in plain language.

Qualifications

• Experience with designing or constructing datacenter facilities.
• Experience working as a consulting mechanical engineer.
• Proficiency in digital design delivery using Revit/BIM 360.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of data center cooling and HVAC infrastructure.
• Develop innovative thermal management solutions for AI, HPC, hyperscale, and colocation facilities.
• Ensure cooling systems achieve resilience, efficiency, sustainability, and uptime targets.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams across multiple projects.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on cooling strategy, liquid cooling adoption, and future-ready data center design.
