Job summary

Ramboll Group A/S in Finland is seeking a Senior Mechanical Engineer to lead data center cooling and HVAC design within the DataCenterFacilities Nordics group. You will collaborate with colleagues across Finland, Sweden, Denmark and Norway, delivering sustainable data center solutions.

You will provide technical leadership, develop thermal management for AI/HPC/hyperscale facilities, and mentor teams on multiple projects in a hybrid work setup with a global knowledge network.

Qualifications

• Experience with designing or constructing datacenter facilities.
• Experience working as a consulting mechanical engineer.
• A thorough understanding of digital design delivery through Revit/BIM 360.
• Excellent communicator capable of explaining complex technical concepts to clients and project teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of data center cooling and HVAC infrastructure.
• Develop innovative thermal management solutions for AI, HPC, hyperscale, and colocation facilities.
• Ensure cooling systems achieve resilience, efficiency, sustainability, and uptime targets.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to engineering teams across multiple projects.
• Act as a trusted advisor to clients on cooling strategy and future-ready data center design.
