Job summary

EDRMedeso Group in Tampere, Finland, is seeking a Senior Application Engineer (CFD) to join the Technical Business Development team. You will apply advanced CFD experience with ANSYS to support customers through demonstrations, proof of concepts, and evaluations, bridging technical and commercial goals in a hybrid work setup.

The role requires 10+ years in CFD, PhD or MSc in fluid dynamics, and fluency in Finnish and English.

Qualifications

• Familiar with CFD methods; 10+ years with ANSYS preferred.
• PhD or MSc in Fluid Dynamics or related field.
• 5–7 years in engineering industries.
• Business-focused with commercial awareness.

Responsibilities

• Providing product presentations and demonstrations.
• Attending trade shows and conferences.
• Attending customer and site visits within Finland.
• Performing customer evaluations and proof of concepts.
• Supporting customers in evaluation of additional products and capabilities.
• Supporting marketing with relevant technical content.
• Contribute to country-specific growth.
• Account development planning, working with the Sales Account Managers.
