Job summary

EDRMedeso in Finland is seeking a CFD Engineer to join the Technical Business Development team within the Revenue department. You will leverage extensive ANSYS CFD expertise to support sales through demonstrations, PoCs, and technical content, while visiting customers across Finland and driving country growth.

The role demands a PhD or MSc in Fluid Dynamics, 5–7+ years in engineering, and fluency in Finnish and English.

Qualifications

• Be familiar and competent with the application of CFD methods – at least 10 years of experience with ANSYS tools preferred and/or other similar CFD applications considered.
• Have a PhD or MSc in Fluid Dynamics or a related field.
• Have at least 5–7 years of experience in Engineering industries.
• Be business focused – aware of how the team/individuals contribute to company commercial goals.
• Be capable of working independently when required and within a multidisciplinary team.
• Be an excellent communicator.
• Be able to tackle new technical challenges often accompanied by steep learning curves.
• Be open to exploring new/unfamiliar applications using a wide portfolio of simulation tools.
• Be capable of working to both short-term and long-term deadlines with a rapid turnaround.
• Be skilled or interested in multiple applications including but not limited to single & multiphase flow, chemical processes, reactions, optimisation methods, scripting, HPC/Cloud Computing etc across multiple industry areas.
• Be a fluent speaker in Finnish and English.
• Be results driven attitude and customer-oriented thinking.
• Have a strong desire to learn new things every day.

Responsibilities

• Provide product presentations and demonstrations.
• Attend trade shows and conferences.
• Visit customers and sites within Finland.
• Perform customer evaluations and proof of concepts.
• Support customers in evaluating additional products and capabilities.
• Support marketing with relevant technical content.
• Contribute to country specific growth.
• Coordinate account development with Sales Account Managers.
