Job summary

AGCO is seeking a Senior backend developer/engineer to lead the architecture and development of scalable backend services. You will design high-availability Java Spring Boot applications and collaborate across teams to advance AI-driven development.

The role emphasizes leadership, robust APIs, observability, and performance improvements while enabling remote work options and a four-day onsite/one-day work-from-home schedule at Suolahti. English CV preferred.

• Strong backend engineering expertise with Java and Spring Boot, scalable and resilient design.
• Experience in designing, developing, and optimizing robust APIs and backend services.
• Enforces best practices for code quality, testing, observability, and security with AI tools.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional collaboration, building frameworks and Communities of Practice.
