Job summary

Scrambly seeks a Senior Analytics Engineer to build and run the data platform supporting the commercial side of the business. You will transform raw events, attribution data, and advertiser feeds into trusted tables, then use them to size opportunities and set thresholds for the business.

You’ll join a small, early-stage data team, collaborating with the Head of Data, Data Scientists, Backend, and commercial teams. The role is flexible on level and compensation will reflect what you bring.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in analytics engineering, data engineering, BI development, or a closely related role.
• Strong SQL and solid analytical data modelling: layered warehouse design, incremental models, and messy real-world logic.
• Proactive, self-directed work style, small team, English at B2+.

Responsibilities

• Build and model: design and maintain analytical pipelines in Dataform on BigQuery.
• Analyse and recommend: answer commercial questions with data and set thresholds.
• Take ownership: maintain pipelines and ensure they run in production.
• Make the data trustworthy: implement testing, assertion, and alerting for models.
• Raise the engineering bar: optimize warehouse costs and performance, establish best practices.
• Collaborate: work with Head of Data, Data Scientists, Backend, and commercial teams.
