Job summary

Scrambly is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to own models determining how the platform spends and earns money. You will forecast user value from early signals and keep forecasts accurate as markets move, collaborating with engineers on data pipelines and with commercial teams to turn predictions into decisions.

This is an early data-team hire reporting to the Head of Data. We value independence, practical impact, and a strong ability to communicate complex models to non-technical stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 4+ years as a data scientist with production models that drive decisions.
• Experience with predicting user value and cohort value from early signals.
• Background in adtech or mobile performance marketing is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Own the modelling end to end: framing, building, evaluating, and maintaining live models.
• Forecast user and cohort value across revenue streams and ensure accuracy as product evolves.
• Develop pricing and bidding models to control acquisition costs within margins.
• Create segmentation and targeting schemes based on value delivered by users and partners.
• Improve fraud and abuse models and balance detection with false positives.
• Collaborate with engineers and commercial teams to translate model output into decisions.
