Job summary

ICEYE in Espoo, Finland, is hiring a Supply Chain Specialist (Mechanics & Structures) to ensure timely procurement and delivery of satellite components, with a focus on mechanical and structural parts. The role sits in the Global Manufacturing Organisation / Supply Chain and is performed in a hybrid workplace.

You will work closely with engineering and suppliers to secure reliable parts, maintain high quality, and minimize delays, supporting satellite production and mission timelines.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in Supply Chain / Procurement within Aerospace, Engineering or industrial manufacturing.
• Experience with Mech parts (metal plates, sheets, structures) in production, manufacturing processes, procurement and supplier management.
• Basic knowledge in vendor qualification, vendor auditing and vendor onboarding.
• Reading and interpreting technical documents.
• Proficiency with using ERP systems.

Responsibilities

• Ensure timely procurement and delivery of Satellite components.
• Procurement execution and strategic sourcing of both custom-made mech parts and off-the-shelves products.
• Work closely with technical experts to ensure highest quality and reliability of deliverables.
• Maintain communication with vendors relating to changes of orders / drawings / item specs.
• Supplier negotiation on pricing, freight, lead time, shortage recovery etc.
