Job summary

ICEYE seeks a Mechanical Manufacturing Engineer in Espoo to bridge design and production for reliable satellite hardware. You will ensure manufacturability, quality, and on-time delivery to enable rapid iteration and scaling of ICEYE’s SAR systems.

You will review design releases, coordinate with suppliers, track prototypes, and lead root-cause analyses for nonconformances. Proficiency in MCAD/CAM and PLM/ERP is valued, with cross-functional collaboration.

Qualifications

• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Experience interpreting engineering drawings and assembly documentation.
• Experience with external suppliers and technical interfaces.
• Knowledge of tolerances, GD&T, materials, and assembly requirements.

Responsibilities

• Review and improve mechanical design releases for manufacturability.
• Ensure manufacturing documentation packages are complete and production-ready.
• Act as the technical interface with suppliers and manage manufacturing execution.
• Track prototype builds, schedules and priorities to ensure on-time delivery.
• Lead nonconformance handling, root-cause analysis, and CAPA actions.
• Verify incoming prototypes and coordinate rework and rebuilds.
• Maintain part data in PLM and ERP with BOMs and traceability.
• Contribute to process improvements and prototyping capabilities.
