Job summary

ICEYE is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer - Electronics in Finland to oversee supplier quality across the lifecycle of external manufacturing partners. You will drive audits, qualification activities, and ongoing performance monitoring to ensure mission-critical space hardware meets the highest standards.

You will work closely with Supply Chain, Engineering, AIT, and external manufacturers to improve manufacturability, traceability, and inspection methods, enabling scalable, reliable product

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering, preferably Electrical/Electronics/Aerospace or related field.
• Strong experience in supplier quality management for high-reliability electronics, including audits, qualification activities, and supplier performance management.
• Deep understanding of electronics manufacturing processes for high-performance/harsh-environment products (PCB assembly, cable and harness, inspection).
• Experience managing non-conformances, root cause analysis, and CAPAs in high-reliability environments.
• Ability to read schematics, PCB layouts, BOMs, and technical specs.
• Strong traceability, configuration control, and change-management knowledge for mission-critical hardware.
• Data-driven mindset to analyze supplier performance and drive improvements.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management across suppliers and cross-functional teams.
• Ability to influence decisions and drive results with minimal authority.
• Structured problem-solving and high ownership in a fast-paced setting.
• Willingness to travel monthly to supplier sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead supplier preselection and audits to assess capability, maturity, and compliance with ICEYE standards.
• Define and communicate technical and quality requirements to suppliers.
• Monitor supplier performance using quality, delivery, and responsiveness metrics; drive corrective actions.
• Manage supplier change requests, part approvals, process approvals, and configuration control with Engineering and CM teams.
• Lead supplier part qualification to ensure compliance before production release.
• Identify and mitigate supplier-related risks to ensure continuity of supply and quality.
• Collaborate with Design and AIT Engineering to improve manufacturability and inspectability of assemblies.
• Act as the primary contact for supplier quality issues including non-conformances and deviations.
