Job summary

ICEYE is seeking a Satellite Launch Specialist in Espoo, Finland. You will manage launch mission planning, coordinate with service providers and internal teams, and ensure readiness for safe deployment of SAR satellites.

The role involves mitigating production risks, maintaining launch requirements, and supporting campaigns with ICEYE’s launch partners. The position requires a Master’s degree, 0–3 years of related experience, and strong communication.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in a related field.
• 0–3 years of experience in space, aeronautics, or automotive industries.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Support launch mission planning and execution, including schedules and readiness reviews.
• Coordinate launch campaigns with service providers, integrators, satellite operations and internal engineering teams.
• Identify and implement mitigations to production risks that could affect the launch plan.
• Own and maintain technical launch requirements from launch agencies and communicate to engineering.
• Contribute to launch campaigns and bridge the SAR satellite delivery team with launch providers.
