Job summary

Why this role matters

The role is focused on operational and technical/productisation/optimisation aspects of the Launch Team MGSE and inventory.

The role is responsible for building and maintaining a Launch Logistics process taking into account all the Launch inventory in Finland but also in all other ICEYE subsidiaries. But also put in place the LEAN 6S into our ways of working as well as participating in the ICEYE Launch Campaigns.

Your day-to-day responsibilities
  • Launch Inventory management
    • MES
    • LEAN 6S
    • Management of inventory
  • Launch equipment refurbishment
    • Satellite boxes management and refurbishment when the equipment comes back from the Launch Campaign.
    • Maintain a safe environment for the MGSE and make sure the equipment used is inspected and follows the ICEYE quality guidelines.
  • Launch equipment design and build
    • Support any type of new MGSE needed for launch campaigns with our engineering teams.
    • Bring expertise and knowledge of the launch equipment and the needs from the launch team to ensure efficient activities at the launch site
  • Launch Campaign support
    • Launch campaigns technical expertise. Launch Campaigns are a special moment of the satellite life, it requires a lot of learning by doing.
  • Success Criteria
    • Successful, on-time execution with minimal risk for satellites.
    • Build strong relationships with ICEYE's logistics team, production team and external partners.
    • Implement the LEAN 6S for launch inventory in multiple ICEYE facilities and maintain it.

  • Education: Technical degree

  • Technical skills: CAD is a plus

Base salary range for this position is dependent on experience, and will be negotiated individually.
