Job summary

ICEYE is seeking a Spacecraft Analysis Team Lead in Espoo, Finland, to guide a multidisciplinary group in designing and validating SAR spacecraft. You will drive technical excellence, mentor engineers, and collaborate across ground and space domains to ensure reliable operations from launch onward.

The role offers permanent employment with office-based work. You will engage in mission analysis, system documentation, and on-orbit validation activities within a fast-paced, innovative environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Aerospace, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Mathematics, or related field.
• Experience leading a team of 3–8 R&D engineers directly reporting to you.
• Hands-on experience with satellite systems, RF or remote sensing from concept to operation.

Responsibilities

• Lead and inspire a multidisciplinary team to design, develop, and verify SAR spacecraft.
• Mentor and develop engineering talent, fostering collaboration and innovation.
• Analyze, model, and optimize performance of integrated SAR satellite systems on ground and in space.
• Support launch, early operations, and commissioning activities for successful deployment and operation.
