Job summary

Metso is hiring an Application Specialist, SAP Platform to join our IT team. You will work across SAP BASIS and hosting, collaborating with infrastructure and business teams to develop and maintain the SAP platform.

The role requires hands-on SAP BASIS in S/4HANA, knowledge of cloud hosting, and experience with DevOps/Agile practices. Flexible hybrid work arrangements are available in Tampere or Espoo.

Qualifications

• Must have SAP BASIS configuration and operations experience in an S/4HANA environment.
• English proficiency for stakeholder communication and documentation.
• Hybrid working options allowed with Tampere/Espoo locations.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.

Responsibilities

• Collect and document requirements, perform functional analysis, design, build, test and document solutions.
• Apply security by design, ensure application quality, and follow architecture principles.
• Plan and participate in application upgrades and retirement activities.
• Manage SAP connectivity, BAIP/BDC, and integration points; coordinate with AMS partner.
• Support audits, changes, and DevOps/Agile practices in SAP environments.
