Job summary

Metso IT is seeking a Senior Application Specialist, SAP Finance to join the Finance Application Team in Espoo (and Tampere), supporting and developing our SAP S/4 solution across 51 countries. You will coordinate with partners and external vendors to ensure robust financial processes.

You will own SAP FiCo configurations, drive DevOps/Agile practices, and collaborate with stakeholders to deliver scalable, compliant financial solutions within a dynamic, global environment.

Qualifications

• Senior-level expertise in SAP Finance topics (FICO) from day one.
• Proficiency in Finance and Controlling (SAP FICO) with S/4HANA knowledge.
• Experience with ECC/S4HANA lifecycle, configuration, testing and production support.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management in English.

Responsibilities

• Participate in IT tools and processes development for SAP Finance.
• Collect requirements, perform analysis, design and test SAP solutions.
• Coordinate development across SAP consultants, developers and partners.
• Manage backlogs with business stakeholders and product owners.
• Identify opportunities for standardization, automation and simplification.
• Implement DevOps, Agile, Jira and ITIL release processes.
• Support SIT/UAT testing in key developments.
