Job summary

Academic Work Finland Oy is seeking a SAP Basis specialist to ensure the stable operation of the SAP production environment. You will work closely with an external SAP team, manage tickets, and monitor system health in a hybrid Espoo setting.

You don’t need to be a senior; you should have some SAP Basis or similar maintenance experience and a proactive, learning mindset. Onboarding includes hands-on collaboration with experienced colleagues and a focus on work-life balance.

Qualifications

Experience in SAP Basis tasks or a similar maintenance environment.
Technical mindset with ability to trace root causes of problems.
Willingness to learn and take responsibility for practical work.
Ability to work in English.
Hybrid work availability in Espoo (onsite 2–3 days/week after onboarding).

Responsibilities

Ensure stable and efficient operation of the SAP production environment through maintenance and monitoring.
Collaborate with external SAP team; manage tickets in SAP for Me.
Coordinate maintenance breaks, downtimes and technical changes.
Support deployment of transports to production.
Perform individual system setting changes and service activations.
Coordinate observations and measures with stakeholders.
