Job summary

Ventura Brands is seeking aRetention Specialist to own how we talk to customers after they’ve found us. You’ll manage Klaviyo email flows, SMS, and postcard campaigns to improve retention for Silvery and new brands.

You’ll use Claude and our AI workflow to plan, write, and test faster, building retention from scratch for new brands as they launch. You’ll work hands-on, writing, building, and sending campaigns rather than just briefing others, with a focus on performance metrics and premium,

Qualifications

• 2-3+ years in ecommerce, email or CRM marketing.
• Hands-on experience with Klaviyo, building flows and sending campaigns.
• Enjoy writing, building and sending yourself.
• Experience using AI tools for retention and willingness to learn Claude workflow.
• Knowledge of current ecommerce retention trends and sources.
• Strong copy and design sense for premium, trustworthy emails.

Responsibilities

• Email flows: own and improve Klaviyo flows (welcome, abandon cart, browse abandonment, post-purchase, replenishment, win-back).
• Campaigns: plan, write with AI, and send email and SMS campaigns and promotions.
• SMS: grow and run our SMS channel alongside email.
• Postcards: run postcard campaigns to customers and lapsed buyers, and measure impact.
• Segments and list growth: build segments and improve sign-up forms and pop-ups.
• Testing: A/B test subject lines, offers, timing and content, and roll out wins.
• New brands: set up email, SMS and postcard retention for new brands.
