Job summary

Eaton Corporation seeks an EMEA UPS Services Application Engineering and Tendering Lead to be the key technical authority for UPS services engineering across EMEA. The role includes lifecycle replacement of existing units (including 3rd party), engineering of solutions, and managing tender activities with a team of Application and Tendering Engineers.

The role can be remote, with visits to Vantaa required. You will lead technical decisions on modernization, retrofit, and lifecycle projects while

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or equivalent.
3-10 years of experience in UPS systems, power quality, and critical power infrastructure.
Experience in a multi-cultural international environment is desirable.

Responsibilities

Lead technical decisions and final approval of solutions for complex UPS modernization, retrofit, replacement, battery replacement, capacity upgrade, commissioning, and lifecycle projects.
Ensure bids and proposals are technically feasible to install and commission, with safety and costing considerations.
Lead and prioritize the work of Application Engineers and Tendering Engineers.
Act as the highest technical escalation point, leading troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
Develop and maintain engineering standards and best practices across EMEA with the Operational Excellence Team.
Support Sales, Service Operations, Field Service Engineering, Project Management, Product Management, and customers with advanced technical expertise.
Support new service offerings, lifecycle solutions, NPI/NPD projects, and continuous improvement.
