Job summary

Eaton is seeking an EMEA UPS Services Application Engineering and Tendering Lead to act as the key technical authority across EMEA. You will oversee UPS service solutions, ensure lifecycle replacements, and manage tendering with a team of engineers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, or equivalent.
• 3-10 years of experience in UPS systems, power quality, and critical power infrastructure.
• Service-specific experience in a multi-cultural international environment.
• People management experience is nice to have; can be a development opportunity for an experienced UPS Application Engineer moving into leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical decisions and final approval of solutions for complex UPS modernization, retrofit, replacement, battery replacement, capacity upgrade, commissioning, and lifecycle projects.
• Ensure bids and proposals are technically feasible to install and commission, with safety and costing considerations.
• Lead and prioritize the work of Application Engineers and Tendering Engineers.
• Act as the highest technical escalation point for troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Develop and maintain engineering standards, guidelines, and best practices across EMEA with the Operational Excellence Team.
• Support Sales, Service Operations, Field Service Engineering, Project Management, Product Management, Authorized Service Partners, and customers with advanced technical expertise.
• Support new service offerings, lifecycle solutions, NPI and NPD projects, and continuous improvement.
