The European Investment Bank (EIB) is recruiting an Associate Officer for Regulatory Capital and Capital Policy at its Luxembourg headquarters. The role focuses on maintaining capital requirement frameworks, monthly capital ratio calculations, and related reporting within the MDB Capital Adequacy Framework Common Approach.

You will report to the Head of the Regulatory Capital and Capital Policy Unit and collaborate with the Capital Management Division and GR&C.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level degree in Mathematics, Finance, Economics or related quantitative field.
• Experience in capital requirements calculation in banking/finance is preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel, VBA and at least one programming language (Python/SAS).
• Knowledge of Basel III, EBA guidelines or BIS papers is an advantage.
• Good command of English and French; other EU languages are a plus.

Responsabilités

• Calculate and monitor key capital metrics monthly and prepare reports.
• Analyse data for capital-related initiatives and maintain reporting tools.
• Support internal audit findings and implement actions with the unit.
• Coordinate data quality checks and prepare briefing materials for management.
• Provide analytical support for capital management initiatives and ad hoc projects.
