Job summary

Hiab is seeking an R&D Engineer, Control Systems to join the Demountables division's Control Systems team in Raisio, Finland. You will design and develop embedded software solutions for demountable products, participate in engineering design and project delivery, and provide technical support across departments under the R&D Manager.

The primary location is Raisio, Finland, with openness to Tampere, Finland.

Qualifications

• University degree in a relevant technical field (e.g., computer science, electrics, electronics or automation engineering).
• Experience programming in C, C++, Codesys, Qt.
• Knowledge of display and camera systems.
• Familiarity with Matlab/Simulink is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Design and development activities for PLC software in demountables products.
• Develop display and camera systems and create new control solutions based on customer needs.
• Follow design processes: requirements gathering, validation, implementation, and documentation.
• Collaborate with universities, suppliers and partners and support stakeholders on control systems issues.
• Report to R&D Manager and participate in project delivery.
