Job summary

VTT is seeking a Technology Solution Sales Lead in Quantum technologies, to bridge customers, business and research. You will drive sales in the quantum domain, acquiring new customers and shaping offerings with our world-class research capabilities.

The role is based preferably in Espoo, with other locations negotiable. You will lead cross-functional sales planning, coach researchers in customer-centric approaches, and collaborate closely with the Sales Director and VP.

Qualifications

• Experience in deep tech R&D and business development or sales.
• Hands-on experience building customer solutions in a customer-facing role.
• Demonstrated ability to sell projects and solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Track record managing customer relationships and enabling growth.
• Ability to discuss deep-tech concepts with customers.
• Excellent English (oral and written); other languages are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and execute sales activities; build and maintain the Quantum sales pipeline.
• Acquire new customers and drive sales growth; maintain relationships with existing customers.
• Understand customer needs and advise on offerings and service models per VTT guidelines.
• Contribute to offers and contracts with pricing, deliverables and trade considerations.
• Implement frame agreements and compliant customer-specific arrangements.
• Coordinate with research teams to transfer IP portfolios to customers.
• Coach researchers in customer-centric sales practices.
• Lead Sales & Marketing planning with the Sales Director and VP; drive events and exhibitions.
