Job summary

Jorvi Hospitalin hätäsairaalan 3D-E osasto etsii käytännön sairaanhoitajaa vakituiseen tehtävään Jorvi-kampukselle, uudelle ward-rakennukselle.

Rooli mahdollistaa toimimisen tiiviissä moniammatillisessa tiimissä ja vuorojen suunnittelun työyhteisön sääntöjen puitteissa. Omaksut uusia käytäntöjä tarjoten laadukasta potilashoitoa.

Toivomme aiempaa kokemusta sairaalaympäristöstä ja LOP-rekisteröintia vastaavien vaatimusten hallintaa. Suomeksi ja ruotsiksi sujuva viestintä katsotaan eduksi.

We are looking for a PRACTICAL NURSE for a permanent position at the emergency abdominal surgery ward 3D-E of Jorvi Hospital. You have a unique opportunity to start working in a newly completed ward building on the Jorvi campus.

Our ward treats emergency abdominal surgery patients transferred from emergency clinics and observation units. Our largest patient groups are patients arriving for appendectomy, gallbladder-related ailments, gastrointestinal bleeding, pancreatitis, bowel obstructions, and abdominal pain patients requiring investigation and diagnosis.

Practical Nurse Job Title

The practical nurse works in close cooperation with a work partner, colleagues, and doctors in a multidisciplinary team. In the practical nurse's role, you will be able to develop your nursing skills, especially in the care of patients belonging to the scope of specialized healthcare. We also work closely with two other wards of the Jorvi Abdominal Center. Our teaching nurses are actively involved in supporting your orientation.

Our nurses working in three-shift work have the opportunity to plan their own shifts within the rules of the work community. Our wards use community-based activity-oriented shift planning. In our operations, we strive to take into account our employees' life situations individually and flexibly, supporting the coordination of work and private life.

The position-specific basic salary for a practical nurse is €2,870.00/month plus possible experience and other bonuses.

Eligibility requirements

• Degree of practical nurse or basic nurse. We require registration in the professional register of the License and Supervision Authority (Terhikki).
• Language requirements: good oral and written skills in Finnish and satisfactory oral and written skills in Swedish, or good oral and written skills in Swedish and satisfactory oral and written skills in Finnish.
• We require vaccination protection in accordance with the Communicable Diseases Act for those working in customer and patient areas, and a health statement on pulmonary tuberculosis for those working in healthcare units.
