Job summary

Metsä Group is seeking an Analytics Developer to design, develop and maintain Power BI solutions that drive data-based decision-making across the organization. You will transform business requirements into governed semantic models, dashboards and reports in collaboration with business stakeholders and IT professionals.

You will optimize semantic models, DAX and data refreshes, ensuring security, governance and scalable analytics practices.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in Power BI development, semantic modelling, DAX and data visualization.
Familiarity with data preparation, data architecture and information security.
Experience with AI-assisted development tools and modern productivity solutions.
Ability to balance business value, user experience, technical quality and performance.
Excellent collaboration and communication skills with stakeholders and partners.

Responsibilities

Design, develop and maintain Power BI solutions including semantic models and reports.
Optimize performance of semantic models, DAX, reports and data refreshes.
Collaborate with Solution Owners, Data Architects and Engineers; review external solutions.
Implement data-access controls and maintain technical documentation.
Support testing, deployment, release management and transition to continuous services.
