The University of Oulu is seeking a Doctoral Researcher in Educational Technology to work on GenAI-enabled teacher education and professional development. The role is connected to INTEGRATE and Power T/A projects within the Faculty of Education and Psychology in Finland, with international collaboration and a three-year fixed-term horizon.

Starting salary is approx. €2300–€2600 per month, with a 6-month trial period.

Competenze

Master’s degree in education, educational technology, educational psychology, or a related field.
Strong interest in GenAI, educational technology, teacher education and EU matters/values.
Proficiency in qualitative and/or quantitative research methods and applying them in educational research.
Good IT and data analysis skills with interest in digital and AI-based tools for educational research.
Fluent written and spoken English; ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary international teams.

Mansioni

Conduct doctoral research within INTEGRATE (75%) and Power T/A (25%) projects focusing on GenAI, teacher education and teachers’ professional learning.
Contribute to development, implementation and evaluation of GenAI-supported teacher education and professional development activities.
Develop and implement courses, online modules, case-based learning materials, and GenAI-supported teaching activities for teachers.
Collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data related to project activities.
