University of Oulu invites applications for a Doctoral Researcher in Educational Technology to join projects on Generative AI, teacher education, and professional development at the Faculty of Education and Psychology in Finland. The role splits 75% INTEGRATE GenAI-focused work and 25% Power T/A mentorship research, contributing to courses, materials, and research publications.

The position is fixed-term for three years, with a starting gross salary of about €2300–€2600 per month, and a 6‑month

Competenze

• Master’s degree in education, educational technology, or another relevant discipline.
• Strong interest in GenAI, educational technology, and EU matters and values.
• Proficiency in qualitative and/or quantitative research methods.
• Good IT and data analysis skills; interest in AI-based tools in educational research.
• Fluent written and spoken English; ability to work independently and in multidisciplinary, international teams.

Mansioni

• Conduct doctoral research within the INTEGRATE (75%) and Power T/A (25%) projects focusing on GenAI, teacher education, and professional learning.
• Contribute to development, implementation, and evaluation of GenAI-supported teacher education and professional development activities.
• Develop and implement courses, online modules, case-based materials, and GenAI-supported teaching activities for teachers.
• Collect and analyse qualitative and quantitative data related to project activities.
• Contribute to scientific publications and disseminate project results; collaborate with teachers, researchers and international partners.
• Present research findings at conferences and contribute to dissemination of results.
