Job summary

Peikko Group seeks an experienced Operations Business Controller to strengthen financial management and operational performance across the manufacturing network in Lahti, Finland. You will partner with Group Operations and management to drive reporting, costing, benchmarking, and performance improvement in a collaborative, international setting.

Hybrid work model with 3 office days per week, plus health and wellness benefits and an annual bonus program.

Qualifications

• University degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in business controlling, operations controlling, or manufacturing finance.
• Good understanding of manufacturing operations, costing, and performance management.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with a hands‑on, business‑oriented approach.
• Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, and AI tools.
• Strong collaboration and communication in an international environment.
• Fluent written and spoken English.

Responsibilities

• Act as a financial business partner to Group Operations and manufacturing management.
• Provide analysis and decision support on operational performance, profitability, working capital, planning, and investments.
• Develop and harmonize operations controlling, reporting, costing methodologies, and performance management practices across manufacturing units.
• Drive benchmarking between production units to identify improvement opportunities and promote best practices.
• Coordinate operations controlling activities and foster collaboration within the manufacturing business controller network.
• Contribute to Group Business Control priorities and cross-functional initiatives that improve manufacturing performance.
