Job summary

Outokumpu Stainless Oy is seeking three Onsite Network Specialists to ensure stable local network services at our site(s) in Finland. You will install, monitor, and maintain LAN/WLAN infrastructure, collaborating with IT teams and service partners to support continuous improvement and meet local business needs.

The role requires a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a relevant field, 2–5 years in key network technologies, and hands-on experience with LAN, WLAN, firewalls and DHCP.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in relevant field.
• 2–5 years of experience in key network technologies.
• Knowledge of LAN, WLAN, firewalls and DHCP.
• Experience in network installation, configuration, monitoring and troubleshooting.
• Fluency in English and Finnish.

Responsibilities

• Ensure safety rules and regulations are followed in daily activities.
• Maintain Local Area Network (LAN) within the assigned area.
• Install, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain network infrastructure.
• Support fault correction and preventive actions to improve reliability.
• Assist design and requirements for local network solutions.
• Coordinate and implement local network changes.
• Maintain documentation and CMDB data for accuracy.
