Job summary

Netox Oy in Finland seeks a Senior Network Specialist to design, deploy and maintain client network environments including LANs, WLAN, NGFW and VPN. Responsibilities include troubleshooting incidents and participating in deployment and development projects to ensure continuous service.

Requirements include 3–4 years hands-on experience with network environments, configuring and troubleshooting network devices and firewalls (Cisco, Meraki and Fortinet), L2/L3 networking, DNS, DHCP, 802.1X and VPN

Qualifications

Job description

Senior Network Specialist sought to design, deploy and maintain client network environments including LANs, WLAN, NGFW and VPN. Responsibilities include troubleshooting incidents and participating in deployment and development projects to ensure continuous service.

Requirements include at least 3-4 years of hands-on experience with network environments, configuring and troubleshooting network devices and firewalls (Cisco, Meraki and Fortinet), experience with L2/L3 networking, routing protocols, DNS, DHCP, 802.1X and VPN technologies (IPsec, SSL VPN), network monitoring experience, fluent Finnish and English, and a customer-oriented, collaborative approach under pressure. A professional certificate (e.g., CCNP) or willingness to obtain one is a plus. Interest in SD-WAN, SASE and ZTNA is desirable. Internal leadership: willingness to tackle challenging problems. Positive, proactive attitude- learn from mistakes and keep moving forward. Location: Helsinki or Oulu.
