Job summary

EdgeConneX is seeking a Permit Coordinator for the Nordics to drive permitting across Nordic data center projects. You will coordinate applications, schedules, and stakeholder engagement across internal teams and external consultants.

The role requires 2–5 years in permitting, planning, construction, or related fields, with strong organizational and communication skills. You will report to the Permit Manager, EMEA, in a fast-paced, international setting.

Qualifications

• Fluent in English; additional Nordic language skills preferred.
• Strong understanding of permitting, planning, construction or real estate development.
• Proven project coordination with multi-stakeholder environments.
• Excellent documentation and tracking abilities; detail-oriented.
• Clear written and verbal communication across cultures and teams.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate preparation, review, and submission of permit applications for Nordic data center projects.
• Support permitting strategies, schedules, and requirements with the Permit Manager.
• Collaborate with BCEI, Real Estate, Engineering, Public Affairs, PMO and other teams to collect permit information.
• Serve as daily point of contact for external permitting consultants.
• Maintain trackers and schedules with milestones, dependencies, submission dates, and approvals.
• Identify delays, gaps or risks and elevate to management.
• Monitor permit status and follow up to keep projects on schedules.
• Prepare regular permitting status reports for project teams and stakeholders.
• Participate in permitting meetings and document decisions and actions.
• Keep permitting documentation organized and up to date.
• Research local permitting requirements and regulatory considerations for new markets.
• Contribute to improving permitting processes and reporting tools.
