Job summary

NES Fircroft is supporting a leading European data centre delivery partner with an urgent requirement for an experienced MEP Lead to join a major mission-critical project in Finland. You will oversee all Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing activities on site, ensuring safe, high-quality delivery in line with programme and budget.

The successful candidate will hold a degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering, bring 8+ years of MEP construction leadership, and demonstrate

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Building Services Engineering.
• 8+ years’ MEP construction experience with strong leadership capability.
• Proven delivery of large-scale Mechanical and Electrical systems.
• Strong knowledge of MEP coordination, sequencing and commissioning.

Responsibilities

• Lead MEP delivery across the full project lifecycle.
• Coordinate daily site operations with the wider project team.
• Maintain QA/QC standards and ensure compliance with specifications.
• Manage subcontractor performance including progress, manpower and documentation.
• Drive safety culture across all MEP activities.
• Review drawings and technical submissions to ensure coordinated delivery.
• Support commercial tracking including variations and cost control.
• Prepare progress reports for senior stakeholders.
• Resolve technical and coordination issues.
