Job summary

Maybell Quantum Industries in Helsinki, Finland is seeking Junior and Senior Mechanical Engineers to design the next generation of quantum infrastructure. You will craft complex mechanical designs, create drawings and documentation, and ensure designs meet DFX principles while collaborating across departments.

The role involves ownership of subsystems (Senior) including project planning, ECOs, and coordination with manufacturing to scale concepts into high-quality products.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Junior: 2–3 years working experience in mechanical design; Senior: 4–8 years.
• Proven track record turning mechanical concepts into reality.
• Candidates must be able to work onsite and have the right to work in Finland.

Responsibilities

• Create complex mechanical designs, drawings and documentation following DFX principles.
• Determine technical specifications for subsystems and components.
• Collaborate across teams to identify root causes and implement design changes.
• Senior role: ownership over subsystem development, project/resource planning, ECOs.
• Work with manufacturing/operations for smooth transition from concept to scalable product.
