Job summary

Maybell Quantum in Finland is seeking Junior and Senior Mechanical Engineers to develop the next generation of quantum infrastructure. The Finnish office is expanding rapidly as a key engineering hub, with engineers able to manage small projects and collaborate across departments.

The role demands strong mechanical design skills, experience building prototypes, and the ability to work onsite in Finland. Prior exposure to Ansys and manufacturing collaboration is preferred for senior candidates.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required.
• Junior: 2-3 years working experience in mechanical design; Senior: 4-8 years.
• Proven track record of bringing mechanical concepts to reality.
• Candidates must be able to work onsite in Finland and have the right to work there.
• Experience with Ansys, ASME Y14.5 or related tools is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Create complex mechanical designs, drawings and documentation for parts and assemblies following DFX principles.
• Determine technical specifications for sub-systems and components to meet product development requirements.
• Collaborate across teams to identify root causes and implement design changes.
• Manage sub-system development and ECOs, especially at senior level.
• Work with manufacturing to ensure smooth transition from concept to scalable product.
